Fire Services

Fire suppression operations at ECVES have been active since November of 1992 when the department was initially formed as Eagle Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Since that time the type and level of service has evolved as our rural community expanded.

All services are conducted by trained, professional staff in accordance to Department Standard Operating Guidelines, NFPA recommended practices, and State Fireman's and Fire Marshal's Association of Texas standards. Eagle Creek V.E.S. offers a wide variety of fire suppression and rescue services. Read More

Emergency Medical Services

In response to growth and demand for extended capabilities, Emergency Medical Services were offered to the community starting in April of 1999. In May of 2000, the Eagle Creek Volunteer Fire Department Articles of Incorporation was officially amended listing Emergency Medical Services as provision within the charter. The name of the corporation was changed to Eagle Creek Volunteer Emergency Services as well to denote the broadened scope of services.

ECVES is uniquely positioned to balance service offerings for the community. Many of the emergency medical technicians (EMT) are also cross-trained as firefighters and rescue technicians. This allows for a balanced service to be delivered to a patient where the patient expects to receive aid. Read More
