ECVES Board of Directors

The Eagle Creek Volunteer Emergency Services Board of Directors functions in the following manner:

  1. The authority to expend funds as deemed necessary for the operation of the corporation;

  2. Ensure that all donations, grants, or other assets designated for a specific purpose, if accepted, are used in accordance with the provisions specified by the donor;

  3. Provides oversight to validate that all assets of the corporation are used only for purposes that are consistent with the customary objectives of a volunteer emergency services organization; and

  4. Manages and operates the organization in a manner consistent with the customary expectations of a charitable, non-profit corporation.

The Board of Directors meets on a monthly basis on the Wednesday preceding the third Monday of the month. Special meetings of the Board of Directors for any purpose can be called at any time by the President, or if the President is absent, then by the Vice President, or by any two directors. The board of directors attends business meetings which are held on the third Monday of each month.

Development Engineer for Sherwin Williams Paints for 19 years; left when the company downsized by a 1000 workers. I then started my own sewing machine business after leaving Sherwin Williams Paints until present date. I was the second person to buy land in the Eagle Creek Ranch Subdivision; served on first board of the Homeowners Association as Vice President for 3 years. One of the original founders of the Eagle Creek Volunteer Fire Department; Served as President of the ECVES Board for 14 years until present, not consecutively however.

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in Accounting; Certified Internal Auditor; Internal Revenue Service enrolled agent; retired Air Force pilot; wrote Articles of Incorporation; and one of the original founders of Eagle Creek Volunteer Fire Department; served as Treasurer of the ECVES from the beginning of organization to present.
